EEP were engaged by Metrolink to maintain a positive public perception during a period of significant disruption in Manchester City Centre. Traffic and pedestrians were equally affected, and Metrolink entrusted the PR campaign to EEP.

The ‘Elfie Selfie’ saw our staff, festively dressed as elves in Metrolink colours, engaging travellers and shoppers throughout Manchester City Centre. Goody bags were also distributed, and selfies were posted to a twitter feed and automatically entered into a prize draw.

Metrolink was delighted with the outcome, successfully mitigating any negative fall-out from the anticipated frustrations caused by the work.
